warm autumn vs warm spring: comparing subseasons

What do vibrant colors look like in Spring vs Autumn? 🌷🍁

This is a question I hear a lot: how can I tell the difference between Warm Spring and Warm Autumn colors when they're both warm? Are they interchangeable?

I also see a lot of palettes out there with Spring colors that are far too muted!

Here’s what you need to know:

- Autumn colors look VINTAGE (washed, faded, lived-in)

- Spring colors look NEW (saturated, fresh, splashy)

For the warmest colors specifically:

- Spring warms look like they are bathed in mid-day sunshine.

- Autumn warms are complex and blended like the colors of the sunset.
